All of our lots are a minimum 80 feet wide and at least 120 feet deep with many much larger than this. Some approach and exceed one half acre of land! Many of our lots back up to woods, open space, and or conservation easements which will protect the integrity of the streams which run through the community as well as keeping these wooded areas for the aesthetics of the community. All lots within Berkshire are designed to accommodate a walk out basement, thus ensuring that every home buyer will have the full use of this important additional space in your home! There is not additional cost for this!
Although we strive to build each home with extra special attention and to have zero defects upon final completion, sometimes extra work is required. We accomplish this by having two pre-settlement walk throughs. The first is done during the paint and drywall stage of the home, which is approximately one month prior to settlement. At this time you will have the opportunity to point out paint and drywall issues, which need to be fixed. The next walk through is done one week prior to settlement and encompasses the remainder of the house. At this time you will point out other issues which need further attention. We strive to complete this final list prior to your settlement.
