Hour Homes is known for their Quality and Value. At Somerset Landing we have added many more “standard features” to our already long list of features offered in the past. The “built in” quality will show in each and every home. Each home is “hand built” from the ground up by the top trades in this area and supervised by our “hands on” Project manager and his staff of assistants, “punch out”, and warranty men/woman. All our homes are “stick built” by the best carpenters in the area and all the tradesmen and subcontractors used to build your new home have been with Hour Homes for many years. All this attention to detail ensures that you will receive the very best quality in a new home!

We have designed five new Models and have brought back five of Hour Homes favorites from the past – a total of ten Models and floor plans to choose from! This, along with a multitude of “options” will allow you to “customize” your home to meet the needs of your family! Our lots average over 9,000 square feet in size with a minimum width of 72 feet. Most lots are over 110 feet deep, thus allowing you to put playgrounds, pools, decks and landscaping in the rear yards! Each lot is developed from the “ground up” by our very own skilled dirt moving and utility crews. All of our lots have been designed to accommodate a “walk out” basement, thus ensuring that every home-buyer in Somerset will have the full use of this important additional space in your home!

Although we strive to build “our homes” to have zero defects upon completion, sometimes extra attention is required before or after settlement and during the warranty period. This issue is solved by doing two pre-occupancy Walk throughs as well as giving an “extended warranty” on each home. During this initial walk through you will be allowed to point out all the issues which need special attention, and we will quickly address these issues, usually before settlement. The “extended warranty” is for a total of ten years on the structure, two years on plumbing, heating/cooling and electrical and one year on the rest of the house.
